RIM on Sunday: Rare Epic Antlers

Brought to my attention during Aparri's livestream this afternoon, a rare item(possibly for tomorrow) was released to Jam Mart Clothing.

Here is a picture of today's rare on an Arctic Wolf:

During the livestream mentioned above, many aspects about this rare were brought up. One of the more exceptional aspects of this rare are the wacky colors! Light green, dark and light purple, and a hint of blue stripes? This has not been seen in any item yet. 

Another thing we can look at is the price. Typically rares are much more expensive than the normal item. In today's rare, that is not the case. Here is the normal epic antlers:

For sale for 500 gems more, the normal Epic Antlers has the same structure as the rare, however they are much more plain.

Unreleased Den?

First off, from Friday, I was unable to get on Animal Jam, only because the lag was far too bad to play. I apologize for any inconveniences.

In today's diamond challenge post(click here for the Daily Explorer post), AJHQ might have just shown us a review of an unreleased den. 

Shown above, we find a modern version of the Crystal Palace. With many similarities to the Crystal Palace, we cannot confirm this is a different den, but we can assume so. 

The GIF which the first picture was taken from is shown above. We find a mixture of gem and diamond dens. Can you find a way to differentiate this den as the Crystal Palace or unreleased? Comment your ideas down below!

Update: Item Search

Yesterday, at 12:30 P.M. EST,  Animal Jam updated to add an amazing new feature that we have all asked for. Animal Jam finally added a feature where you can search for items(both clothing and den).

Please note my username and gem amount has been edited out.

By typing an item name or even a key word, we get the results that apply to our search criteria. It makes decorating a den so much easier!

Outfit Ideas

As our first outfit idea was for non-members, today's outfit is for members. With Thanksgiving right around the corner,  I was inspired to do a more Thanksgiving themed outfit. Let's check it out!

This outfit consists of four items. These for items are a pink turkey hat(Jam Mart Clothing), a pink leaf necklace(Jam Mart Clothing), leg armor(Jam Mart Clothing) and elf tail armor(Diamond Shop).

Epic Den: Epic

For today's epic den post, we have a user fitting this title very well.  Their username is epic and their den truly is epic!

What makes epic's den  truly amazing? Well just one small portion of his/her den shows the dedication and hard work put into decorating his/her den.

Glitched Den: jh02

For today's freestyle post, I will be posting a glitched den. Head over to jh02's den for a cool underwater den glitch!

At jh02's den, we find a empty looking den. When we look closer, we find  a porthole. 

Nothing is strange until we head to Sunken Treasures to check this item out. This is what we find:

Comparing this item to the jh02's player card, we see that the item is for members, but jh02 is a non-member! How did he/she do this glitch? Comment your ideas below!

Apologies...

I am so sorry for not posting in months! I have just been insanely busy with school and math. As we get closer to Christmas, everything is beginning to die down. I will definitely start posting here though. To be honest, I totally forgot about this blog! Hopefully, in the near future I can "hire" authors, and expand to a bigger blog! Please accept my dearest apologies and I will begin posting from now on. I am sorry, and thanks for staying with me in a time of "MIA".

Rare Bowler Hat

As we prepare for Night of the Phantoms(Halloween), we need costumes. One larger part of a costume is a hat or mask. So today's rare item is a Rare Bowler Hat.

This rare item is on the cheaper side of rares, on sale for 500 gems. It is for members only. This hat is worn on the head of any land animal.

Epic Den: FlagShop

This den isn't a normal den you see in Jamaa. This is a truly epic den! Belonging to FlagShop, this den is filled with hundreds of different flags.

Just as the username says, this den is almost a shop,  displaying all the non-member flags. Let's have a look at this epic den:

-No Scamming Society-

Welcome to Friday's tips and tricks post. Today's tip is to head to the -No Scamming Society- to find all the lastest scammers.

We all know about scammers on Animal Jam, right? Well, here is the place to go for all the scammers, hackers, and bullies. The -No Scamming Society- is a public Google+ community, created by my good friend Veronica Thomas. This is most likely the largest community devoted to reporting bad jammers ever! With 150+ members, every day, there is likely to be a new post.

This is the only community where I report bad jammers, so please our community out! I do happen to be a moderator there, and I take my job very seriously.

This community is set up to be very easy to use. I included all the information and proof you need, so you can go straight to Animal Jam and report them. All viewers here are encouraged to report any and every scammer on this blog and on the community.

Please be aware that the bad jammer I post here(on Wednesday) will be on the -No Scamming Society- before it is here.

Updates: New Den and Clothing Items

Here is another update post with some new den and clothing items. Let's start with clothing items. Our clothing items appear to be Halloween items: parts of costumes.

These items are both for members only, and they are both worn on the head of an animal(they are hats). They can be purchased at Jamaa Clothing.

Now, onto den items. We have three very similar Jack-O-Lanterns. Returning from last year, these items are for Halloween.

One of these items are for non-members, while the other two are for members. These items are for a land den, and can be purchased at Jamaa Furniture.

What is your favorite item out of these five new items? I like the two clothing items equally and the best. See you in next post!

Updates

Today's scheduled category fitted the new updates perfectly. Upon logging into my Animal Jam account, I found there was a new Jamaa Journal:

With this update, the monthly calendar has changed. Check the activities calendar in Jamaa Central for all the new updates and events:

Let's start with the first update: new pet elephants. They can be purchased in the Diamond Shop for three diamonds, like all other diamond pets.

Even though I am a non-member, I designed an elephant for demo purposes.

Now onto our next update. Today is the last day of Rainbow Armor. Buy it quickly before they leave Jamaa!

Replacing the Rainbow Armor is the new Wind Armor. Pick them up at the Diamond Shop today!

Now onto a more exciting update that will be going on for a period of time. As the leaves begin to lose their color in the real world, the same happens in Jamaa. By taking a walk around Jamaa, you will notice there are hundreds of gorgeous orange leaves.

In addition the new landscapes, Jamaa's stores are beginning to fill up with fall items:

Jammer Watch: Jammer07916

We start off our first jammer watch with a confirmed scammer. This means you should report and block them. Our convicted jammer's username is Jammer07916, and he/she is a member.

So  this all stated when I saw this scammer with a spike giveaway. As the picture above shows, the giveaway was trust, which is a normally a sign of a scam. I went to go check it out. After coming to his/her den, we saw that on his/her trade list was a few necklaces, typical of a scam. I decided it was time to get down to business. 

Of course, the first thing I asked was if we could trade the actual spike. I could almost guess the responce: no, trust only.

Many people there were careful and suspicious like me. Others were there just to see if this was a scammer. Here is a picture of one wary jammer:

As typical of a scam, in the end, you get locked out. This was true with  this scam. Here you can see that we were locked out:

Being smart, I had buddied everyone(excluding the scammer) in the den, before being locked out. I went to all the other people there. I found that someone did indeed get scammed.

I will not enclose the username of the victim for privacy issues.

This comfirms that Jammer07916 is a scammer. I would request that you report this jammer as soon as possible. How  do you think our first jammer watch went? Comment your feedback for a shout-out chance. 

Outfit Ideas

Welcome to Outfit Idea Tuesday. For our first outfit, I will be showing you my signature outfit that I wear on my wolf all the time. This outfit's final look looks like this:

This outfit consists of three items: a dark red fox hat, a red lollipop necklace, and a red pirate sword.

The wolf color panel looks like this:

All parts of this outfit can be worn by non-members. Members, however can replace the lollipop necklace with a red spike or another red item.
